The Guntner Family is a family of entrepreneurs with a diverse range of businesses, interests and investments. Although the main passion has always been aviation, each family member has carved their own successful path in their own way, determined and with their own unique passions. We all support one another where needed, but each family member is fully responsible for their businesses. We also are engaged in finding new investment opportunities. Part of this approach involves meeting incredible people with incredible ideas. As a family office, we embody strict values of trust, respect, commitment, and personal connection by prioritizing strong relationships with whomever we meet. With a focus on honesty and integrity, our Family Office can provide financial and human resource support to various projects we partner on.

Airotek is our main operations company that can accommodate various interests until they become stand-alone entities. Although the name implies aerospace, it is a diverse company providing services and support in many industries.

Founder
Mike Founded a couple of aerospace businesses, but none more successful than co-founding Essential Turbines Inc. With his father back in 1993. ETI has become synonymous with quality, performance and unmatched customer support of helicopter Gas Turbine and Thrust powered propulsion systems with clients all around the world. Mike maintains a Board of Directors position and continues to be an investor in the business and provides key insight where requested. Mike now enjoys being a mentor to his children while still being active with his businesses and investments.
Helicopter Leasing
Helicopter leasing provides a flexible and cost-effective way for businesses to incorporate a helicopter asset without the commitment of ownership. Clients benefit from modern aircraft and reduced maintenance costs, with tailored leasing terms and rates for various needs. We currently own a fleet of Bell 206 JetRanger BIII and 206L1-C30 LongRanger aircraft. The 206BIII is a utility workhorse in excellent condition. It is currently fitted with cargo hook provisioning but has yet to sling a load making this a stunning example. The 206L1-C30 is a beautiful low-time example as it is fresh out of a complete refurbishment from tip to tail including paint. It is configured in VVIP livery with new avionics, leather interior, air conditioning and the power of a M250-C30 engine. Aircraft can be leased in either wet or dry lease options.

Maximus Guntner
Corporate and Commercial Helicopter Pilot for Hire
Max is a young, patient and highly skilled corporate and commercial pilot born and raised in Hudson, Quebec. Max earned his commercial license in 2024 with Craig Joiner of Joinair. All his training hours were accomplished in a Bell JetRanger BIII in the beautiful mountains of British Colombia where weather and wind awareness were always key factors. Max is following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great grandfather and through this lineage has ignited his passion for aviation and helicopters. With a deep respect for the industry and a strong commitment to safety and reliability, Max brings years of aviation experience not only through his CPL, but also through his previous work experience with inventory and quality control systems. Therefore, Max possesses a unique understanding and awareness of the helicopter industry.

Sam is always demonstrating unique solutions to challenges through his core competencies and creative mindset. He can offer specialized welding and surface finishing capabilities to various markets and industries and can also provide these capabilities as a contract employee. His previous work experience over the last 7 years included low volume quality custom fabrication, industrial fabrication, aerospace and communications industry fabrication in addition to creative projects such as outdoor furniture, industrial décor with a key emphasis on a passion of his, the outdoor kitchen.

Surface finishing
Lapping/Surface Finishing: An automated machine process that achieves a mirror-like finish in accordance with high tolerances of measurement able to provide an incredible product flatness up to +/- 0.0001 of an inch. We can work with any specification tolerance and some of our work includes high precision Thrust Washers for jet engines and satellite communication Housings that require near perfect sealing surfaces as well as various endeavours for industrial and automotive applications.
